Cats have the predilection of placing themselves in high places so that they can dominate the whole scene. It doesn’t matter how small, uncomfortable or weird the place can be, one can witness them resting peacefully there. That is a fact about cats I have always found very peculiar, and I wanted to show it in this painting by exaggerating all the aspects that might interfere with the cat's nap.
