This tiger image is based on a white tiger seen from the side. I worked using the alla prima technique for this piece. I started to add color to the white and wet surface following the pattern of the feline's hair, when the shape was done I found that the proportional eye was too small so I decided to add a manga style eye which favors prominent eyes.
